一．代词it1. 用作人称代词，取代前文提到的事物。
I am sending you some advice I found on the Internet. It might help you.
2. 用以取代批示代词this，that
A: What is this?
B:It is a tulip.
3. 用作非人称代词，暗示时候，日期，地址，气候，温度，间隔，情况等。
It is time for class.
It is 9 o’clock.
It is fine.
二． 指导词it
1. 用作情势主语，取代不定式，动词-ing短语或从句暗示的真正主语。
It is no pleasure staying at home watching T生髮治療,V.
It is no use crying over the spilt 霈方,milk.
It is difficult to give up the bad habits.
2. 用作情势宾语，取代不定式，动词-ing短语或从句暗示的真正主语。
He found it difficult to catch up with others in learning English.
She made it a rule to practice oral English everyday.
She think it no use complaining about others.
3. 用在夸大布局中，可以对句子中除谓语动词之外的成份加以夸大。经常使用夸大布局为：it is/was + 被夸大成份+ that/who/whom + 句子其他成份。一般来讲，被夸大部门指人时，用who; 指事物时用that，但that也指人。
